Good use of the green screen to get a good variety of locations and make the background look more exciting and busier.
Very bright - difficult to see the artist.
It relates to the song well because of the costumes, the props, and dance moves. The dance moves fits in with the music/visuals. And good use of Goodwin's theory - Visuals/Lyrics with the bikini.
I like the strobe lights towards the end of the song, relates to the genre and lyrics as Dizzee is talking about clubbin'.
However, extremely limited shot variety. Mostly mid shots.
The quality of lip syncing was really well done. The effects were really good and effective and emphasised the song. The change of backgrounds were really imaginative which must of taken a lot of thought. The movements fitted the beat to the song and kept the pace going. The cut where they throw the hat at the camera gives the video more originality and done well. The props and the costume went with the song really well and the variety of colours added to the genre of the song. The strobe light clip and the dancing were really original. Well done :)
The quality of lipsyncing was average - not very precise but the lyrics were really fast so you did well! The video links to the genre characteristics very well with the bright colours. The visuals/lyrics link is amplified but some are illustrative with the bikini bit. The video sells the artists as they're singing directly to the camera which makes the audience also experience voyeurism. The camera work is very steady but there isn't a variety of shots but it still works well. The mise en scene also links as the backgrounds are pools and beaches - holidays!!!!! The costumes also link as you are in summery outfits. The video was very good - our favourite!
Really good quality of lip syncing
ReplyDeleteThe use of green screen and costume and props is really good really relevant to the lyrics etc.
Good use of changes between shots for example when Dom throws the hat at the camera it makes a really good cut between the scenes
The staging of the video is good and the colourings of the set are all related and happy.
the way the actors all sing into the camera is an example of voyeurism and selling the artist.

ReplyDeleteLip syncing isn't brilliant and could be better.
